How many of you, like me, think peas are a pain in the arse? Thank god there's sauce when you eat baked beans, otherwise they'd be just as bad. and when you really think about it, how many times have you stood up from the table and noticed peas all over the floor?! Let me know!

also, how many of you are clean freaks when it comes to eating? I have a friend who in the middle of a roast dinner, got up and went to wash his hands, coz he didn't want his hands to smell of fish. lol!

I don't like peas. They make me gag. Do they make anybody else gag?

yeah, peas are very sexy. haha but yeah, they do have a tendency to wind up on the floor.

I like peas, especially of the mushy variety! They can't ping off all over the place then can they? lol

Hahahahaha! I wasn't sure what I was gonna be reading about in a topic labled Small, Annoying and Round. Anyway, peas are cool. And if you want sauce on peas, then have creamed peas, or pea salad.

I once went to a restaurant and had garden peas with the main meal, and they were minted! Very nice!

Ah I had those as well! made me fart like a trooper! But na, seriusly, they were fucking wonderful!

Mushy peas are just the best! Especially in a sandwich, but that shows some or my less savoury eating habits!! As for the small round bouncing type, I really can't see the point in them, they're just a pain to eat! And, have you ever noticed, how much of a tall order it seems when you ask in a restaurant to have your dish served without them? It seems so often that peas are mandatory.

Mushy peas, fresh garden peas and chickpeas are yummy, but yeah, they can be pretty bloody-minded when you want them to stay on the dinner plate instead of riding down your boobs or your thighs on to the floor. I just use a spoon to round up any escaped peas if they're in danger of rolling off the plate and over the table.

i hate peas, and they are so small they can get just about anywhere

Post 16 by SensuallyNaturallyLiving4Today (LivingLifeAndLovingItToo) on Sunday, 12-Nov-2006 9:40:58

I love them, but only when fresh. I hate mushy, mooshey over cooked peas. I especially like them in Indian food, in either alu motter, how ever you spell it, or in somosas or in motter ponyer, how ever you spell that. They are good in pot pies or shepard's pie as well, less rolly polly. And chick peas aren't peas, they're beans, garbanzo beans, also called chick peas, but really beans.

I hate peas. In Texas, people cook peas on New Year's day for luck. Dream lady laughs, and makes a face.

I think two of the most wonderful things invented for hungry blind people are the sandwich and the spoon. I like peas, but agree that I'm having an easter egg unt on my plate or something. If I can mix them up with the mashed potatoes, that makes life lots easier.

Yeah. That's what I do if we're eating something with mash. Mix it together with the peas.

I hate peas. Any kind of peas. I hate the taste, the shape, the smell, and I don't care what kind they are. I don't like coconut either, and that's another story. So, I agree. They're small, annoying, and round, and shouldn't have been created. lol.

Small, annoying and round? I have something to add to this list, but they're not exactly those three characteristics. They're larger, oval-shaped, and really nasty. Lima or kidney beans, anyone?

peas are good in a salad but not warm
